A commission request form MUST be filled out prior to any consideration of acceptance. This is quite simply for record keeping. I absolutely will not get started on a commission without the form being filled out. If a form is partially or incorrectly filled out I will ask you to re-submit the form. This is really important. These forms help keep me focused, on track and dead accurate as to what you want!
I encourage you to be as thorough as possible with this!!!
If you want to write a novella (not always recommended) please do. Just make sure you cover everything you want and/or need so I can get your commission done right the FIRST time. Be precise, on track and as detailed, expressive, colorful and clear as possible. Include references. I will LOVE you if you give me a million references. In fact, my level of love for you is directly correlated to the number of references you give me. More is good! =D
Payment:

I accept PayPal, check, money order, credit card (via PayPal) and cash. Again, and I stress, I assume absolutely no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged payments. Make sure you secure your payment, and track it if you can. I will alert you the day your payment arrives and the day the funds clear.
Commission payments will follow one of two processes depending on the nature of the individual commission. Either (A) full payment will be required immediately upon acceptance of the commission/project or, (B) 1/2 to 3/4 of the payment will be required immediately upon acceptance of the commission. In both cases work will not begin until the payment has been received AND all funds are cleared.

For those of you wondering, no, I'm not really that anal, but I do -try- to be consistent for the sake of organization and optimization of time. So, I TRY to keep to roughly this process when I work:

Presentation of Final Product
At each pivotal step of creation I will show you the current progress of your commission and at each review and revision stage I'll require approval before moving onto the next stage. This is why I stress being in consistent and reliable communication with me! The faster you respond, the faster the project can progress!
I work on commissions daily (typically Monday through Friday). I keep all customers updated on the progress of their commission. Waiting time my vary depending on your place in my commission queue.
